Check evaporator coil for buildup and air flow restrictions

Inspect all air filters

Clean condenser coil / hose must be readily available

Inspect blower wheel

Check Freon Level's and sub cool

Verify capacitor is within operating range

Verify connection on control board

Voltage reading supplied to unit to make sure within range

Treat evaporator coil drain pan with slime tabs

Evaluate drainage of secondary & primary drain lines

Check all motors for oil leakage and over amp draw

Verify contactor pints & coil of contactor for resistance 9 - 13 OHM's

Inspect inside of plenum for biological growth

Check all caps and valves for seals and proper fit

Visual duct inspection will also check for air leaks

Check thermostat operation and mounting

Startup heater & check for proper combustion on gas unit's

Check amp draw on electric heat kit's

Check temperature & performance of heater

Verify operation of safety control's and switch's

Inspect heat exchanger for cracks or deficiencies

Cycle gas valve for operation & check for leakage

Check for carbon monoxide leaks

Check vent pipe for clearance, connection & verify pipe is secured

Inspect all filters

Check all motors for oil leakage & over amp draw

Inspect flue pipe

Inspect blower wheel & draft inducer fan motor for excessive vibration

Inspect wire connection on low and high voltage

Secure all panels

Inspect inside of plenum for biological growth
